Dr. Cannon’s career has focused on partnering with professionals to support the social and emotional needs of children and families. She has worked in the field since 1999 and brings more than 25 years of experience coaching and training professionals in the child welfare, behavioral health, and education fields. In addition to her training and consulting work, she is also a college instructor teaching Communication and Education courses, bringing expertise in adult learning, engagement, and effective communication strategies to her presentations.

Her doctorate degree is in Educational Leadership, and her doctoral work focused on professional learning and trauma-informed care. Dr. Cannon is a lifelong learner and an active member of multiple professional organizations in order to stay current on trends and best practices.
